French Summer Capsule Wardrobe

Summer is almost here, and I’m so excited to be spending the season in France again. With lots of upcoming travels and events, I created this chic French capsule wardrobe (with three variations) that I can wear for almost an occasion this summer. It features several pieces inspired by popular “French girl” brands like Rouje, Reformation, Sézane and more. Although the capsule pieces are more colorful than my typical minimalist capsule wardrobe, it’s still so easy to put together endless outfit combinations that look effortless and feminine. It’s thoughtfully curated to help you create a variety of looks that you can wear to work, brunch, shopping, or wherever you’re going this summer. Along with my must-have clothing items for Parisian summer style, I’m sharing over 50 outfit ideas (18 for each version) that you can create using the suggested pieces.

This French capsule wardrobe is very unique from my past ones because I created three versions of the wardrobe with different color palettes: sage green, brown, and red. The sage green version is perfect for any lover of pastels who favors a more romantic aesthetic. The red version was heavily inspired by the latest summer collection from Rouje, which features several items in a bright cherry red color. The brown version is my personal favorite, and it’s a great option if you don’t like to wear a lot of black during the summer.

This capsule wardrobes is meant to inspire you, so feel free to change some of the pieces to better suit your lifestyle, weather, etc. I chose a lot of heeled shoes for each variation of this wardrobe, but you could easily swap in a pair of flat strappy sandals, white sneakers or ballet flats.
