When it comes to French skincare brands, Caudalie is often one of the first that comes to mind.
Born in Bordeaux at Château Smith Haut Lafitte (founder Mathilde Thomas’s family vineyard), Caudalie built its reputation on the antioxidant power of grape-derived ingredients like resveratrol and polyphenols.
What started in the vines has grown into a globally loved brand, known for its clean, effective formulas powered by the grape. From brightening dark spots to smoothing fine lines or treating acne and breakouts, Caudalie has something for every concern and skin type.
Whether you’re considering the cult-favorite Beauty Elixir or deciding on the best Caudalie moisturizer for your skin, this guide to the best Caudalie products breaks it all down for you.
Here is the crème de la crème of Caudalie, worth adding to your beauty routine in 2025.
10 Best Caudalie Products
Best Caudalie product: Caudalie Beauty Elixir Face Mist
Best Caudalie cleanser: Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser
Best Caudalie moisturizer: Caudalie Premier Cru The Cream
Best Caudalie serum: Caudalie Resveratrol-Lift Instant Firming Serum
Best Caudalie anti-pigmentation product: Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Dark Spot Serum
1. Vinoperfect Brightening Dark Spot Serum
The Vinoperfect Brightening Dark Spot Serum is one of Caudalie’s bestselling products. In fact, 1 bottle is sold every 15 seconds around the world (so you know it has to be amazing).
It’s powered by viniferine, a natural extract derived from vine sap that’s 62x more effective than vitamin C at brightening skin. You’ll also get the benefits of olive squalane, which helps hydrate and soothe.
It fades dark spots caused by sun exposure, aging, acne, pregnancy and blue light. Plus, it evens tone on all skin types, including sensitive skin.
If you’re looking for a Caudalie vitamin C serum alternative that’s non-irritating but powerful, this one is it. Funny enough, it’s one of the first products I bought at the French pharmacy when I first moved to France!

2. Beauty Elixir Face Mist
A staple in makeup artists’ kits and loved by celebrities, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir is a multi-tasking face mist that enhances glow, tightens pores, and sets makeup.
It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and 100% natural, formulated with green grape and orange blossom water and a mix of essential oils: peppermint, rose, lemon balm and rosemary.
You can spritz it on any time of day for a boost of radiance. I love to keep mine in the fridge during summer for a refreshing mist. I will say that it does contain a good amount of fragrance, so it might not be the best match for sensitive skin.
Unlike the Caudalie Grape Water Face Mist and thermal water sprays, Beauty Elixir is formulated for glow and tightening over hydration and soothing irritation. I’ve used and enjoyed both though!
3. Premier Cru The Cream
If you're looking for the best Caudalie products for mature skin, the Premier Cru range should be on your radar. It was developed specifically to correct all signs of aging: wrinkles, dark spots, and volume.
The star of the collection (and one of the brand’s overall bestsellers) is the Premier Cru The Cream. This rich moisturizer combines Caudalie’s most advanced technologies including viniferine, natural plumping filler, and an exclusive longevity patent created in partnership with Harvard University. It reactivates youth mechanisms and enhances your skin’s cellular performance (aka it’s the ultimate anti-aging cream).
I also love that it comes in a refillable glass jar, so it’s better for your wallet and the planet.
And if you didn’t know, Kelly Rutherford is now the face of Premier Cru. I've been spotting her on Caudalie ads all over France lately!

4. Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser
This purifying gel cleanser should be the first step in your skincare routine if you struggle with blemish-prone or oily skin.
The formula includes natural salicylic acid, organic grape water, and polyphenols to cleanse sans drying out the skin. It also works to tighten pores, reduce excess sebum, and treat breakouts.
The Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser is one of the best products from Caudalie for acne, especially if you want something that’s clean and plant-based.
Use it alongside other top-rated products from the Vinopure range like the Blemish Control Salicylic Acid Serum and the Moisturizing Mattifying Fluid for the ultimate acne-fighting ritual.
5. Resveratrol-Lift Instant Firming Serum
Caudalie does it again with this lightweight firming serum from their Resveratrol-Lift line.
The key ingredient in this ultra-concentrated formula is resveratrol, Caudalie's patented, active anti-aging ingredient derived from vine shoots that correct wrinkles and firm the skin. Alongside this, you’ll also find vegan collagen boosters and hyaluronic acid to visibly lift and contour.
The texture is finer and layers invisibly under moisturizer or makeup.
As I approach my 30s, I’ve been looking for ways to evolve my skincare routine. The Resveratrol-Lift Instant Firming Serum is an excellent one to add in for boosting collagen. I also appreciate that it’s less irritating than retinol. It offers very similar benefits but won’t aggravate or dry out your skin.

6. Instant Detox Mask
The Caudalie Instant Detox Mask is so viral, it has more than 100 million views on TikTok. What’s made it such a sensation is its “detox” effect. Hero ingredients like pink clay, caffeine, and grape marc help to cleanse the skin of impurities, eliminate excess oil and tighten pores. The result is baby-soft skin in just 5 to 10 minutes.
If you can’t book a treatment at one of the Caudalie spas in Paris or elsewhere, keep this mask in your beauty cabinet for some impromptu (and more affordable) self-care. It’s recommended for use once or twice a week whenever your skin needs some TLC.
While it's technically suitable for all skin types, it’s better suited for oily or combination skin. I have dry skin, so I haven’t personally tried it, but all of the glowing reviews speak for themselves.

7. VinoHydra Gel Moisturiser
Lightweight, refreshing, and deeply hydrating, the VinoHydra Gel Moisturizer is a dream for dehydrated skin. This gel cream is infused with hyaluronic acid, organic grape water and aloe vera to replenish moisture and restore bounce.
It’s made without silicones and melts into the skin instantly without leaving an oily finish. Combination and sensitive skin types will particularly love this one.
I’ve sampled this moisturizer and noticed the instant cooling effect. I can imagine how nice this would feel on the skin in the summer.
The Caudalie VinoHydra line often gets overlooked, but it seriously has some underrated gems. If your skin leans more normal, the Sorbet Cream Moisturizer from the same collection line is a slightly richer alternative to try.
8. Self-Tan Sun Drops
A new release from the brand, Caudalie’s Self-Tan Sun Drops are your shortcut to a natural, easy-to-build tan all year round. Just add 2 to 6 drops to your favorite serum or moisturizer and apply evenly to clean skin. You can even mix it into body lotion for an all-over glow.
As with most of Caudalie’s lineup, these drops are formulated with organic grape water to moisturize and soothe, along with self-tanning active ingredients for a sun-kissed complexion without UV exposure.
This has quickly become one of Caudalie’s best products, even as a newcomer.
Here’s my mini review: I bought these drops from the French pharmacy recently and have been enjoying the results so far! I have fair skin, so I only add 3 drops to my moisturizer, which I apply to my face, neck, and décolleté.
The tan isn’t drastic (which I love), and I haven’t noticed any strong smell or staining on my clothes. I haven’t tried it on my body yet, but I will be testing it out for my upcoming summer vacation.
I definitely recommend giving these a try if you’re curious! They’ve been selling out quickly, so be sure to act fast if you see them in stock.

9. Vinotherapist Hand & Nail Repairing Cream
This ultra-nourishing hand cream is a skin savoir, soothing dry, cracked hands all while protecting them from dehydration and external aggressors.
It’s rich in organic shea butter, grapeseed oil, polyphenols, plus avocado and olive oils that make for a skin-loving cocktail that also helps strengthen nails and cuticles.
As someone with a bit of a hand cream obsession, I’ve tried many formulas at the French pharmacy. I love that this one absorbs fast with no greasy finish (the worst feeling after applying lotion).
Another one of the bestselling Caudalie products that lives up to the hype. Definitely add the Vinotherapist Hand & Nail Repairing Cream to your winter beauty routine if your skin’s feeling the effects of the cold weather.

10. Vinosculpt Lift & Firm Body Cream
This one’s for your body, but it still feels every bit as luxurious as Caudalie’s facial skincare.
The Vinosculpt Lift & Firm Body Cream is rich, sculpting, and designed to target four key zones: arms, chest, stomach, and buttocks. It uses antioxidant-rich grape polyphenols, iris extract, grapeseed oil, and organic shea butter for firmer, smoother, more toned skin.
For even better results, Caudalie recommends applying it with a rolling-kneading massage to "break up" cellulite. You can even watch their Vinotherapists’ self-massage method, inspired by the treatments at their Bordeaux Spa. It would also pair perfectly with dry brushing for a full anti-cellulite ritual.
The body cream is part of the Caudalie Firming Program, a 4-step routine for losing a dress size in 28 days. Whether or not you commit to the program is up to you, this cream has many amazing benefits on its own! I also have to add that it smells incredible.
