manifestation-routine

A few years ago I heard about the law of attraction while browsing YouTube. Initially, I labeled it as unscientific and a little eccentric — how can my thoughts change anything? Months later I realized that my mindset was incredibly negative. I had been anxious about everything and hopeful about nothing. I decided to truly try manifesting since everyone seemed to share how impactful it had been on their lives. Since implementing this simple manifestation routine, I have attracted some amazing things into my life like my beautiful apartment, my current job, travels, and financial success.

The law of attraction states that anything you put your energy and focus towards, the more of that you will attract into your life. To create positive opportunities in my life, I follow these 4 steps in my morning routine to manifest my dream life. This daily manifestation routine will help you to express gratitude, raise your vibration, and attract abundance into your life.

So if you ever wake up feeling like your day is already on the wrong foot, then you might need to change your habits. The morning sets the tone for the rest of your day, and if you start it rushed or stressed, it can be challenging to regain that balance. That's where this morning manifestation routine comes in—a powerful way to set intentions, cultivate positivity, and shape your day for success.

What Is the Law of Attraction?

The law of attraction is a belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life. It's based on the principle that thoughts, emotions, and beliefs can attract corresponding experiences into your life. The energy you put out into the universe will be returned to you.

The law of attraction is often associated with practices like visualization, affirmations, and manifesting desires by aligning your thoughts and feelings with what you want to achieve or receive in life.

It’s important to recognize that it's a belief system and not universally supported by scientific evidence. Some people argue that it oversimplifies the complexities of life and success, not taking into account factors like systemic issues and privilege. Others claim that it can foster toxic positivity, dismissing true struggles and challenges. However, you can use the law of attraction as a mindset tool to keep a positive outlook without being ignorant of the real problems in the world.

If you want to learn more about the law of attraction, you should read "The Secret”. It’s both a book and a documentary that offers a deep dive into the law of attraction and presents several case studies about how the LOA has impacted so many people's lives.

Why a Morning Manifestation Routine?

Manifestation isn’t about wishful thinking—it’s about aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions to attract what you desire. By starting your day with intention, you set a positive trajectory that influences your experiences. Here’s why it’s so impactful:

  • Setting the Tone. By beginning your day with a mindful routine, you establish a positive mindset that can influence how you navigate challenges and opportunities that come your way.

  • Clarity and Focus. When you start your day by visualizing your desired outcomes, it creates a mental picture that keeps you focused on your goals and motivated throughout the day.

  • Emotional Well-being. Practicing gratitude, visualization, and affirmations in the morning cultivates positive emotions which can uplift your mood and reduce stress.

  • Increased Productivity. Starting the day with a structured routine can enhance productivity. Clear intentions and a positive mindset often lead to more focused and efficient work.

The 4-Step Morning Manifestation Routine

Meditation

The first step in my morning manifestation routine involves a simple yet powerful practice: meditation. As soon as I wake up, I reach for my phone and open either the Open Breathwork app or the Balance app—my go-to tools for guided meditation.

By starting my day with a brief meditation session, I prepare myself to be a magnet for the things I want to attract into my life. Clarity of mind, reduced anxiety, and increased positivity help me as I set my intentions for the day.

Morning meditation doesn’t need to consume a large chunk of your time. I typically spend just five or ten minutes meditating each morning. Some of the guided meditations I use are just 3 minutes! If you’re just getting started with meditation, it’s less important how long you meditate or how focused you are during your sessions; what matters is being consistent and building the habit.

Visualization

Create a vision board with images that reflect your dream life and look at it every morning. Visualize your goals as if they’ve already been achieved. Picture yourself succeeding, feeling fulfilled, and living your desired life. This will help align your thoughts with your desired outcome and remind you of your daily focus.

My vision board is a Pinterest board with images that encapsulate my perfect life. It doesn’t have to be a digital board, but this helps me envision my goals better. I can look at it throughout the day no matter where I am. You can also opt for a physical vision board and print out any images. As you look at your board, you’ll begin to access the energy of how it will feel when you manifest your desired life.

Journaling

Journaling is a powerful tool to help clarify your thoughts and reinforce your intentions. And there are many ways to journal — you can write down things you are grateful for, positive events in your day, etc. I really enjoy scripting 1-2 pages every morning. It’s an easy exercise where you write out your dreams as if they are already true. For example, “I am so grateful to live in my beautiful apartment with an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower” or “I am so happy to have an incredible boyfriend.” This will help you raise your vibration and help you start acting like you already have these things in your life. Find a journal specifically for your manifestations. Pick a journal with a design and style that is enjoyable to you. I’d also suggest picking something that is comfortable for writing.

You can also try a journal with prompts to help guide you. An excellent guided journal is The Anti-Anxiety Notebook, made by expert therapists and designed to ease anxiety, tackle stress, and enhance your self-awareness. I love that it’s rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy—a well-established treatment for anxiety.

Another popular tool is the Five Minute Journal, the OG gratitude journal that almost every wellness-minded girl has tried. It features 5 daily prompts focused on gratitude and self-growth that take only five minutes to fill out. It’s perfect for your busiest mornings when you need a quick positivity boost.

Lately, I’ve been using this self-compassion workbook that my therapist recommended to me. As someone who struggles with anxiety and perfectionism, I’ve been trying to have more compassion for myself, and this workbook has made a drastic difference in my mental health. It’s full of journal prompts and practical exercises that have really helped me. And cultivating a compassionate mindset is incredibly important for attracting what you want in life.

Remember, there is no specific way to use your journal; the key is to write anything that makes you feel more positive!

Affirmations

Affirmations are statements that you read to yourself and help you say things to your subconscious that you want to believe. It is important to put your affirmations in the present tense as if you already have the thing — this will help you attract it more and bring you toward your goal.

I like to read an affirmation then close my eyes and meditate on it for a few seconds. You can also try reading the meditations to yourself in the mirror. My current affirmations are focused on developing self-confidence and positivity. Below is my current list of affirmations. If these affirmations resonate with you, feel free to use this list in your own manifestation routine.
