As September slowly arrives I begin to update my wardrobe for the cooler weather. The month is always deceptive - it is never quite cool enough for heavy knit sweaters and tall boots, yet not always warm enough for strappy dresses and slide-on sandals - so planning for this time of the year can seem tricky.

This year I will be traveling in Europe for the last 2 weeks of September, so I wanted to create a capsule wardrobe that not only considers the changing weather, but is also travel-friendly.
