Sézane has become nothing short of a cult favorite. The Parisienne label is coveted for its effortlessly undone take on French-girl fashion with collections that include a mix of romantic boho pieces and elevated wardrobe staples.

Among the best of Sézane are super soft knits, timeless tailoring and one-and-done dresses that feel both classic and current.

The brand is also seriously committed to sustainability. B Corp-certified, they meet rigorous standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. In other words, it’s fashion that you can shop sans guilt.

As much as I love Sézane, there are many other French fashion brands with similar styles. After living in France for years now, I’ve come to discover some hidden gems that need to be on your radar.

Here are 10 brands like Sézane to save for your next online shopping spree (or trip to Paris!).

10 Brands Like Sézane

1. Balzac Paris

The French brand merging sustainability with style, Balzac Paris stands out for effortless staples with a playful edge. Best known for their perfectly tailored shirts and chic leather bags, the French fashion label isn’t afraid of bold details: leopard print, pops of pink and red, and vintage-inspired collars make regular appearances in their collections.

The brand is deeply committed to creating pieces that last, promoting French artisanal craftsmanship and ensuring every item meets their TPR (Toujours Plus Responsable) promise: fashion that’s always more responsible.

2. Petite Mendigote

What began as a charming accessories brand has evolved into a full-fledged French fashion label—and a quiet favorite among many Frenchies. Petite Mendigote is a must-shop for fans of romantic silhouettes, sumptuous prints, and delicate embroidery.

Guided by a philosophy that encourages women to express their femininity with confidence, each piece is designed to adapt seamlessly to modern life—elegant, versatile, and ready for whatever is on your daily agenda.

3. Sessùn

Sessùn is a Marseille-based label delivering effortlessly cool staples with a distinctly bohemian spirit. Emma François dreamed up the brand while traveling the world and falling in love with the works of South American artisans. Today, Sessùn remains deeply rooted in craftsmanship and artisan inspiration.

While some French brands on this list lean feminine, Sessùn’s pieces are more minimalist but never boring. Their pants are some of my absolute favorites. They always look nicely tailored and fall just right on my longer legs. Much like Sézane, Sessùn is a go-to for elevated essentials that feel like a longtime favorite from the first wear.

4. Libertie

I first came across Libertie one weekend in Strasbourg, and it instantly reminded me of Sézane. The same boho-chic, French girl vibes, only at a fraction of the price. Much more trend-driven, the brand releases new pieces every week, both online and in boutiques, with dresses around €60, blouses at €40, and jeans under €50. Plus they have an excellent selection of affordable shoes and accessories. If you’re looking to curate a French-inspired wardrobe on a budget, Libertie should be your first stop.

5. Des Petits Hauts

Since 2000, Des Petits Hauts has been brightening up wardrobes with its cheerful, colorful collections. Known for their pretty prints, beautiful materials, and romantic details, the French fashion brand infuses feminine and bohemian elements into all of their pieces.

Their cult-favorite cardigans could easily rival Sézane’s best-selling Gaspard, while billowy blouses and gauzy dresses make spring and summer dressing effortless. With boutiques across France, it's a go-to label for many French women (and it was one of my favorites when I lived in Brittany).

6. Pablo

Born in 1989, Pablo is the stylish sister brand of Gérard Darel (another French label with a Sézane-esque vibe). Its name has two syllables—a feminine A and a masculine O—that capture the brand’s boyish-meets-preppy aesthetic. Inspired by iconic namesakes like Picasso, Neruda, and Cazals, Pablo is rooted in art and culture (très French, non?).

Pablo’s collections favor timeless silhouettes over fleeting trends. Lightweight tailored dresses, pea coats, and denim are all revisted with details that make them feel both essential and special.

Since 2015, the brand has collaborated with Clémence Poésy, Ana Girardot, and Camille Rowe, all French icons of style, art, and cinema who embody an innate elegance that define the Pablo woman.

7. Stella et Suzie

Another up-and-coming French label, Stella et Suzie started as a small Parisian concept store, now with boutiques in major cities like Lyon, Bordeaux and Toulouse. From ready-to-wear to leather goods and accessories, the modern maison has quickly built a loyal following thanks to its distinct aesthetic: a mix of feminine, bohemian and chic.

Each month, the brand drops a new capsule collection featuring some of its signatures: solar prints, vibrant colors, and carefully crafted materials. The best part is they ship to the U.S.! So your next French fashion find might be just a click away.

8. SAAJ Paris

I’ve had a soft spot for SAAJ Paris ever since I discovered it during my first trip to Paris in 2017. This was right when the “French girl” aesthetic was just beginning to take off. Back then, SAAJ was gaining buzz on social media, and it felt like every stylish Parisienne had something from the brand.

Today, SAAJ continues to make timeless staples with French savoir-faire. Every piece is imagined, designed, and made in France using premium materials. Scroll through their “Top 30” list and you’ll find plenty of wrap dresses, retro denim, and floral midi skirts.

If you know, you know: SAAJ remains a go-to for authentic French style.

9. An’ge

A true Parisian family affair, An’ge has been bringing a spirited dose of glamour and femininity to everyday wardrobes since 1985. Exclusive prints, brightly colored knits, and a sprinkle of sparkle are all part of the brand’s DNA. Each piece is a reflection of its Rive Droite roots: eclectic and always with a Parisian edge.

While An’ge goes more glam than Sézane, they tap into many of the same trends, and at prices that are quite accessible. Whether you’re scouting out your next summer dress or a show-stopping New Year's look, this is a brand worth bookmarking.

10. Louise Misha

If your style leans bohemian, Louise Misha is a name to know. Born from a love of travel, nostalgia, and artisanal craft, the French label is best known for its floral prints, soft silhouettes, and unique details with vintage inspiration. Think airy cotton voile dresses, ruffled blouses in paisley prints, and cool quilted jackets.

Comfort is at the core of Louise Misha with a distinct boho philosophy: what is beautiful must be pleasant to wear, and what is pleasant to wear must be beautiful.

Beyond women’s and children’s wear, the brand extends its luxurious, free-spirited ethos into the home with quilted accessories and linens that could easily pass for Sézane.

More Brands Similar to Sézane

While the ten brands above are my top picks, there are plenty more labels that share Sézane’s French aesthetic.

If you're a fan of Sézane's basics, Comptoir des Cotonniers is a French favorite worth knowing. I kind of think of it as the French version of Gap. Rosae Paris is a newer name with some beautifully tailored pieces. Both are excellent places to shop for timeless trench coats, forever knitwear and pared-back staples that never go out of style.

For something a bit more minimalist and quietly chic, I’d recommend Soeur. It’s a little more expensive (closer in price to Maje and Sandro), but the quality and aesthetic are worth it. I often shop at their boutique when I’m in Strasbourg when I’m in need of some versatile basics.

Obviously the French bohemian vibe is a major part of Sézane’s appeal. Brands with a similar aesthetic are Nice Things Paloma S, Cotélac, and Karl Marc John. You can find a lot of vintage-inspired details and feminine silhouettes.

Beyond France, Lazzari (Italy) and Orta (Belgium) both feel just like Sézane. I don’t have any experience shopping at these European brands yet, but I’m definitely going to do some investigating on my next trip to Brussels.

For lingerie, bodysuits, and beautifully made basics, Ysé Paris is another brand similar to Sézane with a mix of bold prints and wardrobe staples.

On a budget? Promod is a popular high-street brand in France if you’re searching for brands like Sézane but cheaper. In my guide on where to shop in Paris on a budget, I have even more affordable recs (and many French brands that I’ve already mentioned on this list).

If it’s French footwear you’re after, Jonak, Bobbies, Odaje, and Mellow Yellow are excellent for Parisian-style boots, loafers, sandals and more.

Some of these brands can be harder to find in the U.S., but there are a few great Sézane alternatives for my American readers. Anthropologie carries Sézane-adjacent lines like Maeve and Pilcro. I also love browsing Boden and & Other Stories (particularly the “Designed in Paris” line).

If you have a preference for the Parisian, you'll want to shop these similar brands to Sézane for more classic French style clothing.

What other brands and stores like Sézane should I add to this list? Let me know in the comments below.
